I believe Dr. Gok is truly dedicated and passionate about teaching. In her classes, you can feel that she genuinely cares about students and is willing to make adjustments and communicate to create and provide the most suitable learning environment and resources. She continuously encourages us and is willing to dedicate her time to answering questions, and her classes are truly lively and engaging. I've always lacked confidence in mathematics, but with her help, I'm satisfied with my grades, and I can feel that I've really learned a lot and am not afraid of statistics anymore. Overall, I am really happy to be her student.

This professor tried really hard to make this course fun. I think that Professor Gok wanted us to do well. She was available outside of class, and she tried to go through topics to give us a thorough understand of those topics. I think that she is a passionate researcher and enthusiastic instructor. The review sessions were also very helpful.

We were given real–life examples of why this is important and real–life data to use for our homework/lecture work. The instructor was always very energetic and understanding which was awesome.

Sebahat taught in an easy to understand manner, did an excellent job explaining material, and was always available to help.

LOVE this class and Sebahat. She is very engaging and does her best to make sure all students understand what is going on. The homeworks aren't that challenging. The assingments are usually pretty fun!
